![]() Caritas Family Solutions provides an array of social services to meet the social and emotional needs of people from all backgrounds throughout Southern Illinois. It operates the largest adoption and foster care program in southern Illinois. Caritas provides pregnancy care and clinical counseling services and also operates a residential treatment facility for abused and neglected children. JSC helps Caritas by volunteering at their various locations and doing activities with the residents, as well as helping at their annual Heart & Soul Gala and Secret Santa toy drive. ![]() Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois (VPC) VPC serves victims of family crisis situations with a primary focus on women, children and the elderly. Services include crisis intervention, prevention programs, children's programs, counseling for individuals and families and education. JSC members donate items needed by the shelter on a monthly basis, make desserts for the More than Just Desserts Event, and help with tasks at the Shelter and Shelter Shop resale store.
